Description: T205 1911, Hassan Cigarettes, Gold Border, EDWARD MARVIN "BIG ED" REULBACH, Chicago Cubs - Condition: GOOD+ The righthanded Reulbach was one of the top pitchers in MLB from 1905-1917:Nicknamed "Big Ed" because of his 6' 1" height and 190 lbs (apparently "big" for that time). His Career 2.284 ERA ranks him 18th all-time, just behind Babe Ruth's 2.277.Four times his season ERA was 1.78 or lower, and 12 times was 2.96 or lower. His won/loss record was 182-106, a Career Winning Percentage of .632, leading the NL in Winning Pct 3-consecutive seasons. He also Completed 200 of his 300 Career Starts. He pitched in 4 World Series with the Chicago Cubs and was World Series Champion twice. In the 1906 World Series vs the Chicago White Sox, Reulbach pitched the 1st 1-Hitter in World Series history.Reulbach died 07/17/1961, the same day Ty Cobb died. CONDITION: The card is clean, firm, nice color, with rounded corners, but NO CREASES. Based on the condition and my 57 years as a card collector, I would grade this as GOOD+ (1.5) Condition. "Good" because of the accelerated rounding of the corners, and "+" because there are no creases. I cannot guarantee a grading company would agree, but I think most any experienced collector would. Please look at the photos closely and judge for yourself. NOTE: Ebay's "Condition" category does not have a selection for "GOOD", forcing you to select "Very Good" or "Poor". This is NOT a VG card.
