Description: Up for sale is one of the keys of the 1928 Red Seal deuces. This is the 1928-D Mule Star Note with macro plate number on the front and printed with an old 1928-C back with micro plate number. These are exceptionally rare in Star Notes. The Schwartz/Lindquist book lists these at $350 in VF. The note grades F/VF in my opinion. Still intact with no missing corners and even wear. The reverse is a bit cleaner and more VF. Please check pics and judge condition for yourself. Don't miss this chance to grab this rare variety, I don't get them often. These 1928 series are the last of the large, solid stars.
