This assembly has been media blasted and refinished in black wrinkle to present a period correct image. The base is in very condition and features the dual snorkels with fully functional vacuum doors, new vacuum lines, and the correct ATS with push pin retainers. The driver's side snorkel retains the correct valve cover vent tube (specific to 71) complete with a new valve cover hose, along with the OEM hose retainers on the side of the base. The base features the 5 1/8" flange that will fit OEM Carter AVS/Thermoquads and comes with the correct air cleaner service decal. The inside surfaces have been finished to prevent the typical surface rust that unfinished factory units were susceptible to. The lid is in nice condition and includes a new seal. Note that the wrinkle finish contains typical variations to match that of the factory production methods. A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added to the base and lid as a nice touch of authenticity. A heavy duty air filter and wing nut are included to complete the assembly. The assembly is complemented with a reproduction Mopar licensed 383 Super Commando pie pan. Others may be available (and at a higher cost) - please inquire prior to purchase, as most are subject to availability due to the deletion of production from Mopar.
