This exquisite piece is beautifully decorated with relief pattern of full, ripe cherries hanging from a wreath of stoppled leaves which stylishly surround the bowl. This bowl has been crafted in a rich amethyst purple coloured base glass. The exquisite amethyst carnival finish displays a stunning iridescence with striking shades of electric purple, pink, blue, gold and green appearing to change as light dances over the elegantly curved form. The underside of the bowl is decorated with a "Jeweled Heart" pattern and is without iridescence allowing the exquisite amethyst glass base colour to be fully appreciated. A stylishly scalloped rim featuring eight ruffles perfectly completes this stunning example. SIZE: This impressive bowl stands measures approx 160mms or 6.25" in diameter and stands 40mms tall. CONDITION: This piece is presented in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. There is a straw mark to the top centre of the bowl, a standard part of the manufacturing process but mentioned for complete accuracy. The iridescent carnival finish remains in stunning condition and the pattern is lovely and crisp. This piecehas been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.
