The scrolled edge of the top is chiseled with neo-Gothic scrollwork decorated with aquatic plants. A guilloche cross appears between the holding elements of the cruets. These have a quatrefoil pedestal with teeth, a pinched quatrefoil body, engraved with Gothic ornaments on each side. The handle is in the shape of a chiseled butt and garnished with a collar.
