Description: Constantine I, ae follis, R.I.C. 772a, 307-337 A.D., approx. 25 mm diameter. The obverse legend shows "IMP. CONSTANTINVS P.F. AVG.", and shows the laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to the right. The reverse shows the legend "MARTI PATRI CONSERVATORI ", with Mars standing to the right, with a spear and a shield, "S" and "H" in the fields to the left and right. In exergue is "PTR", Treveri. The obverse is medium to dark brown, and has a small group of small pits in the surface just in front of the face, and a few on the forehead and cheek below the eye. The reverse is also a medium to dark brown, and the surface a little textured. This is a genuine, original coin, not a copy, replica, or reproduction.
