The set was custom ordered in the 80's direct from MacGregor and inspired by the '67 VIP By Nicklaus blades. These irons have the diamond score lines instead of the crowns and the 1 iron and sand wedge have gold ferrules instead of black. The set comes with the 1 iron all the way through the Sand Wedge. The irons show some light scuffing and markings on the face and sole of the clubs from normal use over time. Grooves are in excellent shape still for the age with some signs of surface wear from normal use and some minor rust stains and light browning on a few of the faces but nothing crazy and nothing that will affect play. Light bag chatter and similar wear can be found around the clubs but no large dings or nicks. Overall the clubs are in amazing shape for the age and would make a great addition to any MacGregor fans collection for use or display! The irons come with Dynamic Gold S300 Stiff Flex Steel Shafts and Golf Pride Tour Wrap Cord Grips.
