Description: Very rare 1900-1935s show Saddle made by Tom Flynn out of Pueblo Colorado. The maker was either Tom, the famous Saddle maker which the saddle company was is named, or his son Frank, who took over the family business in 1921. In 1889, he opened a shop in Pueblo, Colorado. The T. Flynn Saddlery made saddles for many of the wild west shows. Tom was a co-creator of the the "Pueblo" style saddle. His shop was destroyed by a flood in 1921. He died six months later. Tom's son Frank struggled with the business until it closed in 1935. Saddles were Stamped "T. FLYNN MAKER PUEBLO, COLO." That makes this saddle ranging from ranging from the early 1900's up to 1935. The title of their catalogs used to be "Makers of the Best Saddles and Harness in the West". The saddle is in good shape for its age. It is stamped on the "T. FLYNN MAKER PUEBLO, COLO." Saddle and fender. Solid wood stirrups. The back of the cantle is stamped S.E. The left side of the pommel is missing a leather strap. I believe this was used in the Wild West shows. Please see the photos for more details. Saddle only. Sawhorse is not included. Shipping includes packaging, tracking and insurance. Local pickup is available
