Height = 3.5 cms. 1762 In France a "fève" is a small lucky charm which is placed inside a traditional Galette des Rois (Kings’ Cake) Although traditionally served on or around the 6th January (Epiphany) pâtisseries sell Galettes des Roi throughout the month of January. The cake is shared with friends, family and colleagues and whoever is the person lucky enough to receive the slice of cake containing the feve becomes the "king" or "queen". Over time these feve have become very very collectable and are now also used as colourful cake toppers. Whilst the traditional Feve normally depict characters from the Nativity scene, these days Feve can also be found which depict Disney cartoon characters, animals, comic strip heroes etc. etc. The range, and collecting opportunities, are almost endless!
