This trip is called "Hyer's Cast Iron Solid Ring" by collectors. (ref. Goedert & Greer #225.). This trip or knot is made of cast iron with no breaks or openings in the ring. This wire is harder to find Sample is at least 18" in length. Trip is well centered in sample. Wire is in good used condition. This sample of antique corn planter wire is absolutely old and authentic and sells with no reserve. Shipping will be $4.50, within the United States.
