Description: Laverne Harding Sketch Walter Lantz Signed Autographed Woody Woodpecker Original Description: A graphite on paper sketch of Woody Woodpecker, dedication to Father Bob Murphy, Signed by the American animator Laverne Harding (Deceased 1984) and dated 4/29/82, plus a set in clipped cut autograph of Walter Lantz (Deceased 1994) dated 1983. Not examined outside of frame, not sure how the sketch is attached to backing, there are some ripples on the right, suggesting the possibility of glue. Emily Laverne Harding (1905-1984) was an American animator who worked for the Walter Lantz Studio animating Woody Woodpecker and other cartoons. Art measures 8.75 x 5.75 inches. Very good condition.
