Kirk Douglas starred as the brilliant but tortured impressionist painter, Vincent Van Gogh. Anthony Quinn won a second Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Gauguin. This poster is from the first release in Belgium in 1957. It is in very nice, partially trimmed condition and features striking artwork that is unique to this Belgian release poster. The same artwork is also featured in a vertical format poster for this same Belgian title. DESCRIPTION: Lust For Life (1956) - Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer., Directed by Vincente MinnelliCOUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium 13.25" x 21.75" CONDITION: Good to Very Good Trimmed Folded Condition. Partially trimmed top white border has a few nicks and bumps on the edges. Some additional nicks as well as a few minor tears in the surrounding white borders. Slightest of yellowing to the paper. Artwork is completely intact and vivid. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 18 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
