Description: Handmade 1940s Style Apron, Birdhouse Theme. This handmade apron was made using a pattern from the 1940s. It was made using the medium size. It has one pocket. The 100% cotton fabric design is birdhouses. It has a bib with straps that go over your shoulders and cross in the back; the waistband is a yoke shape rather than just straight; and the gathered bottom is a fabric with more than just birdhouses. It has blue stripes with a, b, c, apples and leaves; stripes with items you might see on a teachers desk, i.e. books, a pencil holder with pencils and a ruler, a small chalkboard, an apple, a bottle of ink, a drawing, and a baseball on top of a red and white checker stripe; and a stripe of hearts, stars and rectangles. Kind of old time schoolhouse theme. The bib measures 8.5 at the top and tapers down to 7 at the bottom. The bottom is 20.5 long. The tie ends measure about 60. Plenty to tie around the waist.
