Description: Pair of Chinese Qianlong famille rose porcelain soup plates. Each painted with blooming flowers in the center bordered with gilt and decorative motifs in pink. Each, Height: 1 1/2 in x diameter: 9 in. Provenance: Boston Polly Latham Asian Art Minor restorations perfectly done. one has a small repair along the rim with a hairline crack running to the footrim (2.5 inches in length) and the other dish has a small repair (1/3 inch in length) on the underside of the rim. There is light wear throughout both items, in particular along the footrim, as expected from age and use.
