(The Original London production premiered at the Royal Court Theatre (Upstairs) on June 19th, 1973 and in the next seven years played four different venues, closing September 13th, 1980 after 2960 performances. The American Premiere took place at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles on March 24th, 1974, where it played for nine months. Most of the Los Angeles cast made their Broadway debuts at New York's Belasco Theatre on March 10th, 1975, but the show closed after only 45 performances.) .....
