This is an authentic card. The card was a special item giveaway to customers at very specific retailers for reserving the original Rocket Knight Adventures game on the Sega Genesis system. There were not very many of these cards sent to each store so the numbers are likely low overall. This was an authentic promo item sent directly to the retailer from Konami (the game publisher). I had two of these and had sold one at least a few years ago. I believe this is my only other one (unless I find another in my collections). The card is in great shape. It was stored in a top loader hard plastic sleeve all of these years. There is minor shelf wear but nothing really noticeable. Note the card is technically "new" as it was originally loose like this when they arrived in one shipping package together at the retailer (I know because I opened them). Card is in the protective hard plastic top-leader card sleeve then sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard for protection. It is then bubble wrapped and placed inside of a bubble mailer.
