Description: You're buying the Stanley block plane parts shown in the photos.These parts are from a Stanley #9-1/2 block plane and should also fit Stanley #18 block planes.Parts included are:1 lateral adjuster and retaining screw.1 brass depth adjusting wheel.1 threaded post for depth adjusting wheel.1 one depth adjusting pivot and retaining pin.1 sliding throat plate.THIS SLIDING THROAT PLATE CAME FROM A NEWER VERSION WITH THE PLANE NUMBER STAMPED IN THE SIDE OF THE PLANE.IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THE SLIDING THROAT PLATES SEEM TO BE UNIQUE TO ALMOST EVERY BLOCK PLANE,I HAVE FOUND THAT THE SLIDING THROAT PLATE MAY NEED TO BE SLIGHTLY MODIFIED BY FILING OR OTHER SURFACE REMOVAL TO FIT A PARTICULAR PLANE.This plate measures slightly wider than 1-5/8" and almost exactly 1-13/16" in length.Casting numbers are also on the plate:12 and C781.TAKE NOTE THAT SOME MODIFICATION MAY BE NEEDED FOR THE THROAT PLATE TO FIT.These parts are in good condition inspected and cleaned.
