Many people use the term triple weighted to describe chess sets and but it can be misleading as many people believe the pieces will weigh three times what a basic piece does. When purchasing a weighted set it is always best to ask what the set actually weighs if it is not listed. This weighted set is made of rugged, durable plastic and each piece has a felted base. Our sets come standard with two queens. The Kings in each set are 3 3/4” tall, have a 1 1/2” base, and weigh 54 grams. The entire set weighs approximately 2 pounds 2 ounces.
