Description: The Astron Sprite was a wonderful Science Fiction design from the 1960's with a distinctive ring fin and fins that looked like landing pods. The original was very small and flew on mini-engines using tumble recovery. This upsized and updated version is nearly twice the size of the original and stands a bit over 11 inches tall and uses a 4 inch diameter ring fin. This kit is a great flier and is small enough to be flown in smaller fields with "A" engines, but can really scream on a "C" motor. Kit includes a resin-printed nose cone, matching body tube, laser-cut balsa fins, 18mm motor mount (tube, engine hook, engine block), Kevlar shock cord, and 1/8" launch lug. Kit does not come with a parachute, recovery wadding, motors or launch equipment. We hope you will like our take on this classic design. Thanks for looking.
