Description: (J 396) For sale here is a great looking laundry marked US WW2 Army Ike Uniform Jacket. This jacket is Laundry Marked A1393 and is patched to the 3rd Army with German Made Bullion Patch on the right shoulder and 7th Army with a German Made BEVO Patch on the left shoulder. The jacket does not have a ruptured duck, overseas stripes, or service stripes. The jacket does have felt Staff Sergeant rank chevrons. All patches and stripes are machine sewn. The jacket has smooth face clutch back economy Infantry Collar Discs. The ribbon bar is a real BEAUTY! The bar is British made and is covered in one solid piece of plastic. The bar includes a Purple PHM, an ETO ribbon with 2 stars, and a Good Conduct. The jacket is definitely German Tailored as the buttons have been removed, cleaned up, and have had a functional German OPTI zipper added for the front closure. The jacket doesn't appear to have any mothing, but does show minor wear and soiling. Inside, the jacket is marked with the Laundry Mark A 1393 with a size of 36L. The pocket tag is legible and dates the Ike to 8/12/1944. The measurements are below for your convenience.
