Description: This is a very art deco looking wall clock. It is heavy. The clock shows some wear to the face as most of these do. To start the clock you have to open the glass and with your finger, spin the little silver dot counter clockwise to start it. The clock runs well and keeps time, but you have to develop a skill to start these. This has got to be the hardest spin to start clock in the 30s decade. They didn't want it to be noticable and they din't want you to take it off the wall to start it. The condition is really pretty nice. As the pictures show there are 2 flat spots, one on the front right and one on the lower right. It probably fell off a wall one time. You could put a dab of gold paint on those areas and would not be very noticable. I would have done that, but I wanted you to see what you were getting. A very ornate and unusual clock. The cord is in great condition. I think it looks amazing for a clock that is 90+ years old. Even if it works or not. I can't guarantee the clock will work for you. It is a trick to start it for sure!
