Description: NOS Kelch 12" fuel cap used by many, but made for Polaris, part number 2870442. They came with no gasket. They will face upside down till you get a gasket in them. Gasket still available from Polaris These were built in Wisconsin. Yes, you can still get Kelch gas caps for this application, but they have the ugly modern looking top on them. These are exactly what they came with originally. You may or may not find the part number in the parts book. These are part numbered as an optional gas cap with gauge for sleds that came without. Not sure why they did that. I believe this part number is for the 79-80 Gemini and Apollo, but will fit early Indys and many others. They may not reach the bottom of the tank in some applications, but will just give you a reserve when it reads empty.
