Description: 1939 Original Group Photo MS Morska Wola Raising Polish Flag Ensign Snapshot This photo was taken in February 1939, as the new MS Morska Wola, a Polish cargo freighter previously named the Rio Negro, was purchased in Norway by the Gdynia America Shipping Line. It mainly sailed on the South America route. My father served as Second Officer, and was on this ship in September 1939, when Poland was invaded by Germany. He is the officer pictured on the far left. From a photo album. Vintage historical photo. Some rubber cement markings. A large photo, about 5 x 7 inches. I am listing for sale my father's original photos pre-WW2 and WW2 from his album. He was Navigating Officer on the MS Batory and other ships of the Gdynia America Line from 1936 to 1945. We always combine shipping on multiple orders from within the United States. We send items via USPS Ground Advantage for tracking verification.
