Both the movement and the case were made in China. Requires two AA batteries for operation. Clock does not chime. Measures 10" high x 9-1/2" long x 5-1/2" wide and weighs 4 pounds 2 ounces unpackaged. The clock works and keeps good time. There are a few nicks/scratch marks on the outer case.
