Description: W2ENY Package - Mini Studio Desk Microphone I've been experimenting with MANY headsets and mic elements over the last few years. This is not a kit, works great and ready to plug in and go with your radio (4 or 8 pin mic connector). Desktop unit features a gain/level control, removable stand with standard threads for boom mounting, an electret element for great sound with nice audio; I've been getting nothing but excellent 'ON AIR' audio reports. Good Sound at -30dB sensitivity, XLR Cable, the electret/condenser element features unrestricted wide range audio 50Hz-16kHz. Bias for the element is supplied by your radio mic jack. The cable is five plus feet of shielded cable and a PTT jack (wired tip/sleeve) for a hand or foot switch (see my other listings for that). Mic is about 6" long, stand is 6" high when open, 8" when folded up.
